HOTEL RESERVATIONS The Westin Bonaventure Hotel is holding rooms at a special conference rate for NCCED attendees. Single/Double - $148 plus 14.08% occupancy tax. To make your hotel reservation, call the Westin Bonaventure Hotel, 1-800-WESTIN-1 and reference NCCED’s 34th Annual Convention, or to make your hotel reservations on line, go to the NCCED website at www.ncced.org and click on Conferences. Payment of the first night room and tax is required to guarantee a reservation. Reservations received after September 13, 2004 will be accepted at the special conference rate based on room availability. AIRPORT/GROUND TRANSPORTATION Super Shuttle, a commercial airport shuttle service, is available at the Los Angeles International Airport. No reservations are required; however, we suggest that you call 24 hours in advance to schedule your return trip. Super Shuttle service runs on a 24-hour basis. Representatives are available at the van stop located on the outer island outside the airport terminals. The fare is $14.00 each way. Taxi service is also available between the airport and the Westin Bonaventure Hotel for a flat rate of $38.00. An additional surcharge of $2.50 applies for all travel originating at the airport. GROUP DISCOUNT FOR NCCED MEMBERS ONLY Register and pay for one NCCED member at the full conference registration rate and each additional member from the organization can register at the rate of $400. NOTE: If you are not currently a member and would like to become a member to receive the member conference registration rate, please complete the membership application included in this brochure. Return it along with your appropriate dues and conference registration fee to receive the member registration rate. Registration Confirmation Participants who register online will receive their confirmation once the registration process is complete. Participants who register by mail, fax or e-mail within 10 days of NCCED’s receipt of your form. If you do not receive a confirmation, call Marcia Daring at 202-289-9020 ext. 129. Registration received after 5:00 pm. on September 13th will be processed on site. ATTENDEES LIST DEADLINE To be included on the Conference Attendees List, your registration must be received by August 30, 2004. SUBSTITUTIONS Substitutions may be made at any time, provided that the substitute meets the same membership criteria and are from the same organization. CANCELLATION POLICY Written cancellation of registration on or prior to August 30, 2004 will receive a full refund. Cancellations received after August 30, 2004, but before September 13, 2004 will be refunded less a $50 processing fee. Registration fees will not be refunded after September 13, 2004. NO SMOKING POLICY NCCED’s 34th Annual Convention is a non-smoking conference. Please adhere to the smoking policy of the Westin Bonaventure Hotel. RECOMMENDED DRESS Business casual attire is recommended. Meeting room temperatures and personal comfort ranges vary widely. Since meeting rooms often seem cold, please bring either a sweater or jacket.
