We are pleased to announce the availability of our corporate registry, which will be a valuable tool to help businesses from partnerships with CDCs to invest in their areas. Click here for information and directions to participate in the registry.

NEW EMPHASIS ON EMERGING MARKETS

The time is right for the CPP to mount a major campaign to encourage businesses to invest in CDC served areas. Both the Empowerment Zone/Renewal Communities and the Emerging Markets legislation provide significant tax incentives to businesses to invest in these areas. Accordingly, we are going to launch a major educational campaign to ensure that businesses understand these benefits. We are developing specific tools in a number of areas which are complementary to the emerging markets program. These are: Access to Capital; eCommerce and Workforce Development.
