NCCED Community-Corporate Registry
Get Connected

Introduction

The NCCED Community -Corporate Registry is being established as a new feature of the Corporate Partnership Program. It provides an opportunity for businesses which are interested in investing in CDC areas to indicate their requirements. It gives CDCs the ability to profile their organizations and to identify investment opportunities in the areas which they serve. The registry will also provide other organizations which relate to CDC activity to become part of the process.

A data base will be created with the information provided. Once the data base has been established, it will be possible for an interested organization to access specific information, to request different "sorts" of the information, and to match interested company requirements with CDCs or other organizations which have the set of assets identified by the company. (land, workforce, financing etc). Once it becomes operational, other features will be added, such as an interactive "chat room".

Instructions/Definitions

Please complete the following forms. Most of the terms are self explanatory, e.g. Community Development Corporation. There may be a distinction between a Corporation and a large company, which may not technically be a corporation. The intent of the data-base is to be as descriptive as possible. The idea behind the categories is that corporations typically are larger employers and likely to be interested in multiple sites. For this purpose a small company is defined as one with fewer than 50 employees.
