Charles Grigsby has been an active member of the Consortium since 1990. Mr. Grigsby currently serves as the Director for the Department of Neighborhood Development for the City of Boston. He previously served the City as the Director for Capital Planning for the Public Facilities Department, where his responsibilities included the planning, design, and construction of a new $62,000,000 Police Headquarters building. He also previously served as President of the Massachusetts Community Development Finance Corporation, where he created innovative loan, guarantee, and bonding programs for small and minority-owned businesses. Under his directorship, CDFC, one of the nation's first CDFIs, also provided funding for economic development ventures sponsored by numerous CDCs in Massachusetts. He has served as a bank loan officer, and as President of a federally licensed small business investment company. Mr. Grigsby currently serves on the Boston Federal Reserve Bank Small Business Advisory Committee and has also served as the Board Chairperson for an active Boston CDC.
