Job Description:
The Sr. Program Director - Housing is a position within the Housing and Community Development Workgroup. This person will work with field and Columbia-based program directors and senior management to facilitate the development and improve the management of affordable housing and community development projects, products and programs. These activities may include, but will not be limited to, providing technical assistance on special deals, facilitating the development of innovative products, promoting and supporting the Consortium for Housing and Asset management (CHAM), and increasing lender, foundation and corporate involvement in community development finance. Reports to the Senior Director of the Housing and Community Development Workgroup.

Responsibilities:
* Facilitate the development of affordable housing by helping to identify and implement innovative financing products or programs that meet the community development finance needs of Enterprise field offices, Enterprise Native American program, community-based organizations (CBOs) and partners
* Provide T/A and training as well as develop appropriate useful tools on housing development, finance and management
* Work with Enterprise affiliates and partners to develop effective approaches for developing affordable housing as well as utilizing community development financing programs such as the LIHTC and the New Markets Tax Credit programs. These activities include the development and delivery of training and technical assistance on new federal and state tools to Enterprise staff, CBOs and partner organizations
* Support the Enterprise Foundation's role in the Consortium for Housing and Asset Management (CHAM) through the development and delivery of courses in the CHAM Program of Study, oversight of the CHAM web site and participation in CHAM's annual asset management conference
* Build and maintain relationships with national partners, current and potential investors and federal, state and local agencies to support the development of innovative financing products as well as promote the need to implement property and asset management systems starting in the early stages of development
* Provide direct technical assistance to nonprofit groups undertaking or currently managing affordable housing developments, commercial or retail developments or community facilities projects. Technical assistance will include feasibility analysis, financing packaging, development assistance, analysis of existing or proposed property and asset management systems and assistance in evaluating nonprofit organizational capacity and needs
* Assist CBOs and partner organizations with the completion of financing applications, and understanding of terms of competitive applications to maximize opportunities for successful applications
* Conduct public speaking engagements and trainings related to technical aspects of housing and community development finance, including preparing presentation materials. Deliver train-the-trainer sessions to broaden the pool of individuals within Enterprise who can conduct these trainings
* Perform other duties as needed and commensurate with professional experience
